Best time to visit Italy from India

The short answer

ISPRA station data suggests April to June, September and October are the easier months: no widespread heat, and fewer frost days. July and August bring the most heat, with a median of about 15 days above 30 degrees. January and February are coldest, with 12 to 14 frost days. Rain falls in every month, and November is the wettest.

These are ISPRA 1991 to 2020 medians across hundreds of stations nationwide, not figures for one city. The Alps, the Po plain and the south differ a lot. ISPRA says November is the wettest month almost everywhere and July the driest outside the Alps. Crowd and price data are not in these sources.
