IndiGo's 6EMLE Maldives offer is an up-to-10% discount on eligible Saver base fares, not 10% off the complete family travel bill. Start with the dated campaign terms, then compare the same flights, passengers, fare and add-ons at the final payable stage. A selected-flight total can still leave a convenience fee to come.
Checked 6 November 2026. We made an illustrative two-adult Mumbai-to-Malé search for 4 December 2026 and selected a Saver fare. We reached the fare-details panel, not the final payment total. We did not complete a paired no-code/with-code checkout comparison. A real promo saving and final payable family amount remain unconfirmed. No ticket was bought.
What the dated 6EMLE terms actually cover
The official campaign lists a booking window from 00:01 on 30 September 2026 to 23:59 on 30 November 2026, and travel from 7 October 2026 to 31 March 2027. Departure must be at least seven days after booking. The terms do not identify the clock's time zone in the wording reviewed, so do not convert the final hour into a guaranteed local cutoff.
The offer is for eligible India-Maldives bookings on IndiGo's website or app using 6EMLE, on Saver fares only. It covers IndiGo-operated one-way and round-trip, nonstop and connecting flights, but excludes multicity, codeshare and IndiGo group bookings. Inventory is limited; eligibility does not guarantee a discounted seat. The terms say it cannot be combined with another scheme, promotion or offer.
Our two-adult observation, with its limit
At about 05:25 IST on 6 November 2026, the selected journey was one-way Mumbai BOM to Malé MLE on 4 December 2026, two adults, flight 6E1141, Saver. The campaign widget had displayed 6EMLE as applied before the search. That status is evidence of what the widget showed, not proof of the reduction in the selected fare.
The fare-details panel showed Base Airfare for 2 Adult: ₹13,500; Taxes & Fees / Total Tax: ₹11,120; TOTAL FARE: ₹24,620. The same panel explicitly said “Convenience fee may apply”. These are observed selection-stage amounts for that example, not a current quote or a final payment amount. The result was not held and availability was not guaranteed.
We have not established a matching baseline without the code, an explicit discount line, final payment-method fees or the completed add-on bill. Therefore we do not claim how many rupees 6EMLE saved. The arithmetic that adds the displayed base and tax is not a before/after test. Do not label ₹24,620 the final cost of the family's flight.
Keep the comparison genuinely like for like
Use two columns: without the offer and with 6EMLE. Record the observation time, route and airport codes, travel dates, flight numbers, two-adult count, Saver fare, included baggage, selected seats, meals, extra bags, insurance choice, currency and payment method. Then record base fare, each tax/fee line, the displayed discount and final payable amount. Leave a missing field blank rather than filling it from a route article or remembered tariff.
If the same fare is no longer available, stop calling the two columns a controlled comparison. If you change the flight, baggage or fare family, it is a comparison of different products. Only subtract genuinely comparable final totals to describe the observed cash difference. Do not apply 10% to the complete bill, and do not assume the highest advertised rate will appear for every booking.
Saver and a baggage-inclusive family plan are different questions
The campaign establishes Saver-only eligibility, not a universal baggage allowance for every route. The selected example's fare card displayed baggage information, but we are not certifying it as a general current allowance here. Read the allowance and restrictions for each passenger and segment in the actual booking. Confirm any extra-bag price and who it is attached to before adding it to the family comparison.
A different fare may have different bags, seats or flexibility. Do not compare a bare Saver amount with a higher fare that includes extras and call the full difference a promo saving. For parents, workable timings and confirmed help may matter more than a small headline reduction. The flight offer also does not establish a resort transfer, hotel, entry permission or travel-document requirement.
Read the change and cancellation branch separately
The dated campaign describes the offer as non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. It separately allows itinerary changes with the applicable change fee and fare difference under IndiGo's standard terms. Read the actual fare rules and applicable conditions before relying on a change or cancellation outcome. This article does not promise a specific fee, free change or cash refund.
The campaign reserves the right to extend, withdraw, terminate or modify the offer without prior notice. Its stated end date is not proof it remains active until then for every itinerary. After 30 November 2026, treat these as historical campaign terms unless a current official extension is verified.
Sources and what remains unconfirmed
The dated source is IndiGo's Maldives Special Offer terms. The ₹13,500 / ₹11,120 / ₹24,620 example comes from our direct selection-stage observation on 6 November 2026, with its explicit fee warning. Final payable amount, paired promo saving, an actual ticket's eligibility, exact cutoff time zone, future inventory and any extension remain unconfirmed.
