Best time to visit Vietnam from India

Written by The Trip Keeper team Content updated 22 Oct 2026 Facts last checked 22 Oct 2026
The short answer

March to May has the best weather countrywide, according to Vietnam Tourism. Vietnam has three climate zones, so the best time depends on where you go: the north is best in April to June and September to December, the central coast is driest from February to August, and the south is driest from December to April.

Vietnam stretches from the north to the south and behaves like three different climates. The month notes here summarise all three regions, so read the line for the places on your route. No temperature or rainfall numbers are shown because they differ a lot by region.
