Confirm both flight terminals from the current airline ticket or check-in document before moving. A Bengaluru connection may stay in one terminal or require a transfer. Do not decide from an airline list remembered from an earlier trip.

Use the official inter-terminal pickup instructions
BLR Airport’s Terminal 2 FAQ lists the complimentary shuttle at T1’s inner VIP lane in the Departure Zone next to Relay. At T2, its pickup question lists Arrivals P16/P17 and Departure Gate 3. Follow current signs or ask ground staff to direct you to the correct pickup for your level and journey.
Keep the FAQ’s additional stops in context
The separate transfer-process answer lists T1’s Departure Zone by Relay and a T1 kerbside location near Arrivals before Aster Clinic; for T2 it lists Arrivals P16/P17. These answers do not present one identical stop list. If you are at a different level or cannot find the signed stop, ask airport staff rather than guessing across roads or assuming every listed stop serves every transfer.
A ten-minute frequency is not a ten-minute connection
The transfer-process FAQ describes a complimentary service every ten minutes. Treat that as the published service frequency, not a guarantee of an immediate bus, a ten-minute total journey or enough time to catch your flight. Add the walk to the stop, waiting, boarding, travel and the next terminal’s required formalities.
Resolve baggage and border steps before following a generic route
Ask the operating carrier whether bags are checked through, where to collect them and whether you must check in again. Qantas’ Bengaluru guide, for its international arrivals connecting domestically, instructs travellers to collect bags and clear customs before the T2 transfer counters or T1 transfer bus. Its through-checked international-connection instructions differ. Do not apply one example to every airline, ticket or nationality; a terminal shuttle does not remove immigration, visa, security or baggage requirements.
Keep the next flight’s deadlines visible
Use the next carrier’s check-in, bag-drop and gate closure times, not just the departure time. If the remaining time is too short, contact the airline before leaving the current terminal. For wheelchair or other assistance, confirm who helps at each terminal and shuttle handoff. The public FAQ does not establish that every shuttle can meet every mobility need; get that answer for the traveller.
Quick questions
Is the shuttle free? The official FAQ describes it as complimentary.
Does every ten minutes mean a ten-minute total transfer? No. Waiting, walking and flight formalities are separate.
Do I always collect bags between terminals? Confirm the operating carrier’s instructions for the ticket and route.
